What a GREAT movie! It's just as Indiana Jones-y as I remember the other movies being. Don't go see it if you're looking for a serious action packed drama, people. I hear so much complaining from people who actually have SEEN the other movies. I'm not quite sure what they expected! It was friggin awesome! I can't decide which rediculous fight/action scene I enjoyed the most. ;) But yes, it was really funny and there was one HUGE aspect of the movie that I couldn't believe they actually pulled off without being really cheesy, lol. But they did and it actually worked! I won't give anything away of course but I'm sure the people who have seen it know what I'm talking about. =)

Not much else going on these days. I finally had the guts to weigh myself since we got back from our honeymoon. I'm pretty much the same, which is GOOD. If I could only be a good girl on the weekends I might actually LOSE weight! *SIGH*

I have my wacom up and running and I'm trying to figure out what I wanna draw next!

Definitely agree! I don't know what people were expecting... I came out of the theater all excited about it, and most of the other people were, "...eh." I think they forgot what the other movies were like...

Strawberry Syrup - Because sometimes, you just have to tackle evil in the middle of homeroom.
I hear a lot of the problem stems from the incoherence of the plot. Its entertaining as it is watchable, but apparently anyone paying attention is going to lose it.

I'm in business. Business of kicking your ass. And let me tell you what, business is booming.
I totally agree. And people who complain about the plot being too "out there" need to recall that they used the ARK OF THE FUCKING COVENANT to melt NAZIS in the first one.

Seriously. Was this -any- more surreal? I think not.

Nothing wrong with it! Okay, so the fridge thing was a smidge over the top, but it's -Indy-. Consciously or not, the fans expect it to be a little on the side of "OH COME ON, that would never work!"

PS: I liked it. You can tell, yes?

I saw the midnight showing and I was so ticked when I left to hear the so called "fans" bitching about the smallest little things. I mean come on, what were you expecting? I personally LOVED it. (and I now have a healthy fear of ants)...
But whatever to people, I think people just like to find reasons to complain, if they think they can do better then the people they claim to be huge fans of let them try.
