How the hell did we get into so much debt? It seems like we're doing so good and then BOOM, a rat needs to get neutered or the car screws up. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out a way to bring in extra cash but I can't figure it out. My commission requests are far and between and I've sold all my personal items that I'm willing to part with that have any sort of value. There has to be SOME way to bring in more money. This is really stressing me out.

What about selling any old video games that you don't play anymore? I'd also see if anyone would be interested in getting t-shirt designs, or other crafts.

oooh boy :( I can understand that... last year I was out of job for one month <casue we had some problems at my job :S

Maybe you can try to <get< some money from people here on DA. When I got my finacial problem last year, people here was soo generous with me. I did some easy commishes and cheap artworks and people was very kind with me :)

good lunk dear
Get a rocking horse? ;) There must be more money. There must be more money.
I feel the same way. I need a new Motor-sickle this year and I just can't seem to find the cash for it.
Hmmmm.... Yard sales are always good, ask some friends or family if they have some odd jobs you could do for a few spare bucks, cleaning houses are good for some spare sponduli too.
Well we don't have any extra anything. I sell anything I can on eBay and the few friends we have are poor too. And cleaning houses when you work a full time job isn't easy. There's hardly enough hours in the day.

Well dang CandyP, you really are stuck between a rock then huh? :S I would pass on eBay if I were you. It isn't worth messing with now that all the rules have changed. Hmmmmmm...... Well, sadly with gas up, nobody seems to be buying art work. I sell sculptures and jewelry I make when things are tough, but even that's really slacked off as of late. I'll keep thinking though, let you know if I have any ideas.
I've been in the same boat for quite awhile, money wise and commission wise.

We've started out on cutting out on un-needed expenses. I've had to give away some pets because we just couldn't afford to keep them AND ourselves taken care of.
